What Have You Learned?

A friend and cousin and professional counselor is ‘live’ chatting here on FB w/ me and here’s what she asked:

“What have you learned from your work among the homeless?”

To be ‘real’…they easily see through the B.S.

To not judge…

love them, period..

.the rest seems to fall in place.

To listen.

They need someone to hear their story.

Hug them.

I have learned that “Little is much”!

So true for all people, not only the homeless.

How I value authenticity!!
